About the Role
We currently have three permanent, part-time vacancies (27 hours per week, 3 days a week) available. Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends is required, with days negotiable for the right candidate.
As a Customer Care Officer at RSPCA Queensland, you will:
Handle incoming calls, providing support and guidance on all animal-related matters, with a particular focus on rescue and cruelty complaints.
Assist the public with animal surrenders and adoptions, offering compassion and understanding.
Maintain and update records, ensuring that all business processes are followed.
Manage multiple tasks and data entry platforms efficiently.
Build positive relationships with your team and consistently provide excellent customer service.
About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect empathetically with a diverse range of people.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
The ability to work collaboratively in a multi-location team environment.
Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and judgment skills.
Excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Emotional intelligence and the ability to follow processes and guidelines.
Call Centre experience is an advantage but not essential.
A passion for improving the lives of animals.
